Rambus partners with Elite Group to sell LED bulb

Rambus, one of the world’s premier technology licensing companies based in the US, has partnered with the Elite Group, which designs and distributes home goods, lighting and other consumable products, to sell its LED bulbs.
According to Rambus, its LED bulbs are designed using MicroLens optical technology that permits the use of a cylindrical light guide in the bulb. This produces a consistent, spherical distribution of light, an open structure that uses convection to keep the bulb cool, increases energy efficiency, improves lifetime and reduces bill of materials cost with fewer or lower-powered LEDs.
The Elite Group will promote and sell the Rambus LED bulb portfolio within North America. This will includ Elite's current retail customers for its L'Image Home Products division, which sells a portfolio of bulbs and lighting products to major retailers such as Home Depot.
